Vintage Japanese made Kimballa quality N106 Classical Guitar. in Ipswich, Suffolk for sale

In great Condition with one or two age related minor knocks/marks but considering this dates back to the late 60’s early 70’s you’ll be surprised at how well this has been looked after. Really handsome guitar and cracking quality…ornate original tuners/bridge really make this a pretty old thing. Excellent sound and playability, this has such a warm tone. Although it has no specific dating on it, the label does confirm that it was made in Japan and comes from the late 1960’s early 1970s period before FCN altered their label to read FCN-England rather than FCN-London in or around 1974. This is a very elegant Classical guitar, and will provide an excellent instrument for either a student or an experienced player. The elegantly carved Headstock has very handsome facing, and the Rosewood bridge, has smart Cream edged decoration strip in the same pattern as the Rosette. The Mahogany back and sides are also richly coloured, but with clear finish, are attractively light-coloured, particularly attractively grained, again book-matched, with single side binding - the whole guitar has the look of quality! The top is as flat as the day it left the factory, and it's continued integrity after probably between 35 and 40 years is testament to the manufacturing quality, and to the high quality of laminate woods used, typical of Japanese construction of this period.
