'The Square' Author Hand-Signed Children's Books in Ipswich, Suffolk for sale
I have been a Children's Book author since 1998. My first book entitled 'The Red Door' was published in 1999, closely followed by 'The Blue Door' in 2000. Both these books were the start of a 7-book series known as 'The Square'. The final book in the series, 'The Grey Door' was published in 2002. All 7 books were available as individual books as well as Boxed versions of all 7 books. One of the 'Boxed' versions was produced as a Golden Jubilee Limited Edition to celebrate the queen's 50 years on the throne. The reason for this becomes obvious to anyone once they have read all seven books. In January 2016, all seven books were re-published into one new 128-page book entitled 'The Square', to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday. I have a small quantity of these books left, so I am selling them signed by myself (Martin D Talbot) with any special wording for anyone wishing to purchase a book. The price of £8.95 has been slashed to just £6 plus p&p if necessary, with £1 of it going to one of three local Children's Charities. I can hand deliver in Ipswich 'Free-of-Charge'. The story of ‘The Square’ is an adventure novel about four children who meet an old lady who is sitting on a wooden bench near the old statue in the centre of ‘The Square’. The old lady shares her secret of the square with the children and their lives are changed forever more by travelling back in time to the year of 1887. Queen Victoria is celebrating her Golden Jubilee. Strange things happen to the four children and they each witness how life was like during the Victorian Era. They each have seven days to solve the mysteries of ‘The Square’ and set the old lady free from 115 years of waiting since she was a ten-year old little girl. I have also written four 'Young Scamper' books, two of which reached the 2011 Final of 'The Peoples Book Prize' held in London. These books are about the adventures of a rascal Red Squirrel. Many of my signed books have sold on both Amazon and Greatbritainlisted for many times more than the original book price. One fetched £54.
